  1. First Star Recycling can help your organization start recycling by completing a recycling review followed by making a recommendations to get the most out of you recycling program. Recycling reviews can take as little as 30 minutes to complete and your organization can be recycling like pros in a matter of days.

  2. Typical costs for any recycling program include:

    Internal collection expenses
    Transportation costs
    First Star Recycling can assist on determining costs associated specifically for your organization.

  3. Yes, First Star Recycling does pay for various recyclables in large quantities, 2,000 pounds or more. Contact First Star Recycling to speak with a sales representative about your recyclables.

  4. First Star Recycling works with most all trash haulers in the area and can develop a plan that includes your current hauler. Some trash companies collect limited types of recyclables while others collect a wider range.

  5. How do we schedule a recycling pickup?

  6. Where can we recycle glass?

    First Star Recycling has 4 drop off locations around Omaha for residents to recycle glass.

    Open Daily 7am to 7pm

    Southwest
    Firstar Fiber, 10330 I Street
    Open Daily 7 am to 7pm

    River City Recycling, 6404 S 60th St.
    Monday through Friday: 8AM - 4:30PM, year 'round.
    Saturday: 8AM - 4:30PM, Spring, Summer and Fall
    Saturday: 8AM - Noon, Winter
