Big news for recycling in Nebraska!

Thanks to a grant from the Foodservice Packaging Institute’s Foam Recycling Coalition, First Star Recycling has added new foam recycling capabilities at our Omaha facility. Foam items like cups, take-out containers, egg cartons, and packaging foam can now be compacted and recycled into new products — including Solutions Plastic Lumber.

This expands the recycling efforts for hundreds of thousands of Nebraska households and keeps more material out of landfills.
