Earth Day In Nebraska!

First Star Recycling understands the importance and value of sustainable recycling practices and is passionate about making it easier and more economical for Nebraska homeowners and businesses to manage their waste. As part of that commitment, First Star participated in Earth Day in Bellevue on April 13, 2025, held at Bellevue University. Partnering with Green Bellevue, they staffed a booth that included orange bag giveaways, recycling education, and environmental outreach—one of over 30 exhibits celebrating this year’s theme, Our People, Our Power.

In addition to the Bellevue event, First Star was present at Earth Day Lincoln on April 19 at the Nebraska Innovation Campus, where they were a contributing sponsor, and again at Earth Day Omaha on April 26 in Elmwood Park, connecting with hundreds of attendees and community partners across the region.
